Celebrating Radio Broadcasting Day with flair, the CBSE Junior School English Department transformed classrooms into buzzing studios of creativity and excitement, this July.

From weather reports to cricket commentary, from jazzy jingles to Adzap and celebrity interviews—our young RJs brought the magic of radio alive with flair and confidence. A special segment, Coffee with Celebrity, featured our very own CFO, Mr. Subramanian Vanchinathan, adding a personal touch to the airwaves.

The biggest highlight? A thrilling interaction with RJ Jithu from Radio Mirchi, who was wowed by the students’ spark and spontaneity! 🔥 And to top it all, select Grade 8 performers went on air at the Radio Mirchi station, witnessing first-hand the magic behind the mic. 🎧

Hearty congratulations to Surabhi Iyer of Class XII - I for clinching First Place at the 14th ENVIRO 2025, jointly organised by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) and Industrial Waste Management Association (IWMA) at Anna University, Chennai.

Competing against participants from over 125 schools, Surabhi showcased her research and passion under the theme “A Green Check – Audit Your School for Sustainability”. The students of the NIOS stream came together with reverence and love to celebrate the birth anniversary of our beloved founder, Shri Parthasarathi Rajagopalachari, fondly known as Chariji Maharaj — our spiritual guide and the inspiration behind the values of Heartfulness International School.

The morning assembly opened with reflections on his life, teachings, and vision. Students sang a heartfelt birthday song, followed by a touching Tamil poem that honoured his legacy. The NIOS Principal shared personal memories and insights from her time with Chariji — reminding us that true leadership is lived through simplicity, love, and inner strength.

The assembly concluded with a presentation of meaningful quotes and short dialogues that brought Chariji’s timeless wisdom to life. Students also curated a special display of his teachings and quotes across the NIOS floor — keeping his presence alive in every corner.

💖 At the Thiruvallur branch, too, the spirit of Chariji’s birthday was celebrated with warmth and innocence. On this special day, our little ones stood before his photo and lovingly said:
“Happy Birthday, Chariji! We love you!”

May we continue to walk the path he showed us — with peace in our hearts and courage in our steps.

From Kurumba and Warli to Tanjore and Lipan, students were introduced to a vibrant tapestry of indigenous art forms—fostering admiration for India’s cultural diversity and a renewed respect for village artisans and their legacy.

🌟 Our guest speaker, Ms. Anbarasi—a proud Omega parent, Material Science postgrad, and founder of Banu Art Gallery—shared her inspiring journey from metallurgist to artist. A multi-award-winning creator (Kalam’s World Records & Indian Book of Records), she left our students amazed with her exquisite collection of artworks and her passionate storytelling.

The session was filled with curiosity, interaction, and wonder—igniting in young minds a lasting appreciation for India’s artistic heritage.
