Welcome to the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) stream at Heartfulness International School – Omega Branch.

Since we introduced Open Schooling with NIOS in 2014, our journey has been one of steady growth and meaningful impact for our learning community. Spanning Open Basic Education, Secondary, and Senior Secondary levels, NIOS gives us the freedom to build a genuinely inclusive learning environment—one that respects each student’s pace, ability, and learning style, while still holding them to a rigorous and engaging curriculum.

This flexibility is especially valuable for students who need more room to pursue Sports, the Arts, or preparation for competitive examinations alongside their academics. Rather than forcing a choice between excellence in the classroom and excellence in their passion, NIOS lets our students pursue both—and we’ve seen, year after year, how much they can achieve when given that space.
